Pocket-sized instant printer

This Kodak Step Slim Barbie Edition is a lightweight, pocket-friendly photo printer that produces 2x3 inch sticky-backed prints. It connects to iOS or Android phones via Bluetooth or NFC and is powered by a built-in battery rated for up to 25 prints per charge. The bundle includes the printer and Zink photo paper.

Zero-ink printing workflow

Zink Zero Ink technology removes the need for ink cartridges, toner or ribbons, freeing up bag space and eliminating consumable changes. The companion Kodak Step Prints app handles capture, editing and social sharing before sending the job wirelessly. Printed sheets are smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear-resistant with a peel-and-stick backing.

Battery-powered thermal operation

The internal battery delivers enough energy for roughly 25 photos before requiring a recharge, so there is no external power brick during normal use. Thermal Zink printing runs silently with no moving print heads or cooling fans. Power draw is limited to the charging cycle, keeping everyday operation cable-free.

Questions about this item

How many prints can the Kodak Step Slim Barbie Edition produce on a single charge?

The built-in battery delivers up to 25 prints per full charge, so a day of continuous printing stops when that count is reached.

Does the printer get loud or hot during an all-day printing session?

Zink Zero Ink technology has no moving print head, so the unit stays silent and only warm to the touch even after printing the full 25 photos.

What mobile device and app are required before the first print?

An iOS or Android smartphone with Bluetooth or NFC, plus the free Kodak Step Prints app, must be installed and paired before printing.
