Upgrade Pack for Attack on Titan 2

This downloadable upgrade pack adds the Final Battle expansion to the base game Attack on Titan 2 on Xbox One. It requires the original game and its latest update to function. The pack is published by Koei Tecmo and carries an ESRB Mature rating for mature audiences.

Over 40 playable characters and season 3 story

The expansion includes narrative content covering anime seasons 1 through 3, with new character episodes from the perspective of key figures. Five additional characters such as Zeke and Kenny join the roster, bringing the total above 40. The latest story arcs from 2019 are also featured.

New gear and Territory Recovery Mode

Equipment additions include the Thunder Spear and Anti-personnel Omni-directional Mobility Gear as seen in season 3. A new Territory Recovery Mode introduces fresh tactical objectives. Without the base game installed and updated, none of this content is accessible.

Questions about this item

Will the Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle Upgrade Pack run if I still have the original Attack on Titan 2 disc installed?

Yes. The upgrade pack is update data for Attack on Titan 2 and requires the original game plus its latest update to function.

How can I confirm the Thunder Spear and Anti-personnel Omni-directional Mobility Gear are active after redeeming the code?

Launch Attack on Titan 2 with the latest update applied; the new equipment appears in the gear menu and Territory Recovery Mode becomes selectable.

Does the digital code include a separate copy of the base game or only the DLC?

Only the DLC. The code unlocks Final Battle content — stories from seasons 1‑3, over 40 playable characters, new gear and Territory Recovery Mode — and requires the original Attack on Titan 2 to play.
