Digital RPG for twin alchemists

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings is a downloadable role-playing game published by Koei Tecmo. Players guide twin sisters Lydie and Suelle as they work to make their atelier the best in the kingdom of Adalet. The game is delivered as a Steam code and carries an ESRB Teen rating for fantasy violence and mild suggestive themes. It suits players who want a story-driven RPG with alchemy mechanics.

Step up from older hardware or lower settings

The minimum specification calls for a 64-bit OS, a Core i5 2.6 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX550Ti or better at 1280 x 720 resolution with 25 GB storage. The recommended specification raises the target to a Core i7 3.40 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX1060 at 1920 x 1080 with 30 GB storage. The jump is worth it when your current system meets only the minimum and you want stable performance at higher resolution.

Steady frame rates at recommended settings

Under sustained play the recommended hardware maintains the target resolution of 1920 x 1080 with DirectX 11 and a broadband connection. The 16-bit stereo sound at 48 kHz plays without interruption during long sessions. Systems that only meet the minimum may see reduced frame rates or longer load times when the atelier grows complex. Buyers without a 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 installation cannot run the title.
