Dynasty Warriors 9 brings the series into a single open map of ancient China for the first time. Players follow the Yellow Turban Rebellion across more than 10 story chapters with freedom to tackle missions in any order. The new State Combo System adapts attacks to enemy states using Flow, Trigger and Finish moves. This Steam code delivers the standard edition directly to your library.

Action fans wanting open exploration

The game suits players who enjoy large-scale battlefield combat mixed with free-roaming progression across varied regions like snow plains, jungles and deserts. Buyers who want more storage for additional titles should look elsewhere as this is a single-game download. Those preferring physical media or a different DRM platform will not find that option here. The Teen rating includes alcohol references, mild language and violence.

Steam DRM requirement

Activation and play require a Steam account and the Steam client installed on a 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 system. Minimum hardware includes a Core i5 2400 processor, 6 GB RAM and a GTX 660 graphics card with DirectX 11 support. A broadband connection is needed for the initial download and online features.
