What the game is and who it suits

SAMURAI WARRIORS 4-II is a downloadable action title published by Koei Tecmo and delivered through Steam. It continues the Sengoku-era musou series with a character-focused Story Mode that expands on the events of Samurai Warriors 4. Naomasa Ii joins the roster as a playable warrior for the first time. The game carries an ESRB Teen rating for mild suggestive themes and violence.

Minimum system requirements

The minimum specification calls for Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1 running on a Core2 Duo 2.4 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. Graphics must support a 640 x 480 pixel resolution in High Color and DirectX 9.0c. A broadband Internet connection is required for activation and online features. These figures come directly from the publisher's listed requirements.

Sustained play considerations

Because the product is a digital download, thermal output, fan noise and power draw depend entirely on the host computer rather than the software itself. Extended sessions will stress the CPU and GPU according to the hardware installed. The game does not impose additional cooling or power demands beyond those of the underlying system components.
