It is the first entry in the Arland series, tasking players with saving Rorona's workshop through synthesis, exploration and battle.

Fans of classic alchemy RPGs.

The game suits players who enjoy turn-based crafting and time-management mechanics on a 64-bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 system. It requires 17 GB of storage and a broadband connection. Buyers seeking real-time combat, multiplayer modes or console versions should look elsewhere.

17 GB install with DirectX 11 requirement

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 17 GB of available storage space paired with a DirectX 11 capable graphics environment. The title also demands a 64-bit processor, 4 GB minimum RAM and a 16-bit stereo sound device at 48 kHz.

Questions about this item

Will I need to upgrade my graphics card to meet the recommended NVIDIA GeForce 960 with 2 GB video memory at 1920x1080 resolution?

The recommended specification calls for an NVIDIA GeForce 960 or better with 2 GB video memory at 1920x1080 resolution; meeting this avoids the GPU becoming the first bottleneck during extended sessions.

What component becomes the limiting factor first during long play sessions on recommended hardware?

With the recommended Core i7 3.4 GHz processor and 8 GB RAM, the graphics card is typically the first component to limit frame rates during sustained gameplay.

How much heat and power should I expect from a system running this game all day at recommended settings?

Running at the recommended 1920x1080 resolution with a GeForce 960 and Core i7 3.4 GHz will draw typical mid-range gaming power and produce moderate heat; ensure your PC has adequate airflow for continuous operation.
