Expansion Pack for Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV

This downloadable content requires the base game Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV on Steam to function. It adds new diplomatic options, geographical advantages, and nomadic tribes to the grand strategy experience. Players command over 1000 officers across a vast map of China. The expansion celebrates the series 35th anniversary from 2020.

Steam DRM integration and base game dependency

The code redeems directly on Steam and attaches to the existing Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV installation. No separate launcher or additional storage allocation beyond the base title is needed. It unlocks new strategic layers such as trade with Eurasian powers like Rome and India. The expansion integrates seamlessly into the current campaign structure.

Upgrade from the base game diplomacy systems

Owners of the standard edition gain access to province-specific geographical advantages that alter conquest priorities. The addition of foreign cities introduces new diplomatic choices between conflict and friendship. Buyers who want a self-contained historical strategy game without the base title cannot use this product. It is designed for existing commanders seeking deeper strategic variety.
