Compact pop-up food covers

This two-pack provides lightweight mesh covers that spring open to shield plates, bowls, jars and pet dishes from insects. The fine polyester mesh blocks bugs while keeping contents visible, making the set practical for everyday kitchen use and outdoor meals alike.

Collapsible design saves storage space

Each cover folds flat when not in use, eliminating the bulk of rigid domes and freeing up cupboard room. The straight-sided walls accommodate taller items such as layer cakes or deep mixing bowls, and the transparent material lets you check food without lifting the cover.

Replaces rigid domes and improvised foil

The pop-up action is quicker than clamping plastic wrap or balancing a plate on top of a bowl, especially when serving outdoors. The upgrade is worth it for anyone who regularly eats outside and wants reusable, washable protection that packs down to almost nothing.

Questions about this item

How does the fine mesh screen on these pop-up covers keep insects out?

The mesh is described as impenetrable, creating a barrier that blocks bugs and flies while still letting you see the food inside.

What diameter plates or bowls will the 12-inch cover fit over?

The larger cover measures approximately 12 inches across, so it fits round dishes up to that diameter with straight sides.

What is the correct way to open the cover so the frame stays flat over the dish?

Hold the centre and pull upward until the frame pops into its full height, then set it straight down over the bowl or plate.
