Right-Angle USB-C Cable for Camera Rigs

This 12-inch braided cable connects USB-C devices with a right-angle plug that keeps the cable close to the body. It supports 100 W power delivery and 10 Gbps data transfer for external SSDs. The short length reduces clutter on gimbal or cage setups. It is built for video professionals who need a tidy, reliable link.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The cable carries up to 100 W without active cooling, so it stays cool during extended recording sessions. No fans or moving parts mean completely silent operation. Power loss over the 12-inch run is negligible for typical SSD workloads. It draws only the power required by the attached device.

Braided Jacket and Right-Angle Plug

The braided exterior resists abrasion and prevents tangling when the cable is coiled in a bag. The right-angle connector reduces strain on camera ports and keeps the cable out of the operator's way. This design helps maintain a secure connection during handheld or gimbal movement. No additional software or adapters are included.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the right-angle USB-C plug so the cable routes cleanly beside my BMPCC 4K?

Align the angled end with the camera's USB-C port so the 12-inch cable runs parallel to the body, then press straight in until it clicks; forcing it sideways bends the internal pins.

What part of this braided USB-C cable wears out first with daily 100 W charging and 10 Gbps SSD recording?

The right-angle connector's internal contacts and the braid-to-plug strain relief degrade before the straight end; inspect for intermittent charging or data drops after heavy use.

At what point does sustained 100 W power delivery hit a thermal limit on this 12-inch cable?

The 12-inch length and braided jacket dissipate heat quickly, so the 100 W rating holds continuously; the first limit is the host or device reducing current, not the cable itself.
