Genuine drum unit for PagePro and PageWorks printers

The Konica Minolta 1710400-002 is a new genuine drum unit built for the PagePro 1100 and 1100L printers plus the PageWorks 8 series. It replaces the imaging component that transfers toner to paper. Offices running these legacy models use it to restore print quality when the original drum reaches end of life.

Yield measured at five percent coverage on letter

The manufacturer rates the unit at 20000 pages based on 5% coverage of 8.5x11 prints. Real world output drops when pages contain dense graphics, solid fills or smaller fonts because coverage rises above the test standard. Heavy daily workloads will therefore exhaust the drum sooner than the rated figure suggests.

Compatibility limited to the listed PagePro

This drum fits only the PagePro 1100, 1100L and PageWorks 8 series printers named in the specifications. It will not work in other Konica Minolta devices or in printers from different brands. Buyers with newer or different models must source the correct part number for their hardware.

Questions about this item

Should I order the 1710400-002 drum unit or a separate toner cartridge for my PagePro 1100?

The 1710400-002 is the drum unit; toner is a separate consumable. Check your printer manual to see which item is low.

What does the 20,000-page yield mean for everyday printing on a PagePro 1100L?

Does the 1710400002 drum unit work with the PageWorks 8 series through a standard interface?

Yes, it is designed for PagePro 1100, 1100L and PageWorks 8 series printers.
