Cordless wall sconce with magnetic head

The Koopala DS126PRO is a battery-operated LED wall light that mounts in seconds using an adhesive base or screws. Its magnetic lamp head detaches instantly to serve as a portable flashlight, making it suited for renters or anyone who wants adjustable lighting without wiring.

Replaces hard-wired fixtures and plug-in lamps

This sconce removes the need for electrical boxes, junction wiring or trailing cords, so the upgrade is worthwhile when installation cost or lease restrictions rule out permanent lighting. It also supersedes single-mode battery lights by adding three brightness levels, three colour temperatures and a memory function that recalls the last setting.

Limits of the 12 V 60 W LED module

The integrated 60 W LED runs on a 12 V rechargeable cell that delivers up to 20 hours on the lowest setting and six hours at maximum output, so extended all-night use at full brightness is not supported. The magnetic ball allows 360° rotation, yet the fixed 2.3 by 7.4 inch shade size constrains the beam spread, and the E-26 base designation applies only to the product code, not to a user-replaceable bulb.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware does the 2.3×7.4 in base require?

The square metal base uses a sticky adhesive pad for tool-free mounting in about one second, and screw holes are also provided if you prefer a permanent fix.

How do I charge the built-in battery, and what is the common mistake?

Plug the USB charging port on the lamp head; a full charge takes under four hours. The step people miss is leaving the head on the magnetic base while charging — it must be removed to reach the port.

When will the rechargeable battery need replacing, and how is it done?

The sealed battery is rated for roughly two years of regular cycles; when runtime drops, the whole lamp head is replaced because the cell is not user-serviceable.
