Compatibility & Models

This hybrid slim case fits the Galaxy Tab S8 11 inch models SM-X700 and SM-X706 released in 2022. It also fits the Galaxy Tab S7 11 inch models SM-T870, SM-T875 and SM-T878 released in 2020. The case will not work with any other device model numbers.

Protection & Stand

A hard transparent back shell combines with a flexible TPU bumper to absorb shocks and drops. The soft microfiber interior lining prevents scratches on the screen. The tri-fold front cover converts into a viewing stand and a keyboard stand with adjustable angles for typing or watching.

Upgrade Context

This case replaces a basic sleeve or folio that lacks a built-in S Pen holder or auto wake and sleep magnets. The jump is worth it when you need to carry the stylus securely and want the tablet to wake instantly when you open the cover. It is not for users who need a full keyboard attachment or a ruggedised shell rated for extreme drops.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the case to my Galaxy Tab S8 11 inch SM-X700 and what step is often missed?

Clip the tablet into the flexible TPU bumper first, then fold the front cover shut so the built-in magnets engage for auto wake/sleep — skipping the magnet alignment leaves the sleep function inactive.

What part of the case will need replacement first with daily use?

The tri-fold front cover hinge creases over time; the microfiber interior can also wear thin, while the clear hardshell back and S Pen holder typically last longer.

What limits the stand stability when I type on the keyboard stand for long periods?

The tri-fold cover relies on friction at two fold lines; heavy typing pressure can shift the angle or collapse the stand because there is no locking notch.
