Left-hand reference model for artists

This 1/1 scale left hand model measures 8.27 inches and is designed as a posing reference for illustrators and animators. It replicates the hand proportions of animator Takahiro Kagami, known for detailed hand designs. The highly realistic shape and articulation allow a wide variety of positions including gripping, pointing and resting. Suitable for ages 15 and up.

Static figure with no thermal or power demands

As a non-electronic artist tool made from ABS, POM and phthalate-free PVC, the model produces no heat, noise or power draw during use. It requires no electricity, batteries or cooling and operates silently in any studio environment. The materials are durable for repeated posing sessions without degradation. There are no moving parts that generate sound or friction heat.

Bundled articulation enables workflow speed

The articulated joints let you recreate two-handed poses when paired with the right-hand version, ideal for holding objects or clasping hands. This capability supports brainstorming composition and speeds up the overall drawing workflow. No software, accessories or additional hardware are included in the package. The figure functions solely as a physical reference tool.

Questions about this item

How do I pose the AT007 left hand model, and which joint is easiest to over-bend?

The model uses ABS and POM joints at each finger and the wrist; the thumb base joint is the one most people force past its stop, so move it gently until you feel resistance.

What parts of the AT007 hand model will need replacement after heavy studio use?

The phthalate-free PVC skin sections can develop stress whitening at the knuckle hinges; those segments are the only parts that typically wear out and can be swapped if you keep spares.

At what point does the AT007 left hand model stop holding a pose during a long drawing session?

The POM finger joints rely on friction alone; after roughly 7 hours of continuous repositioning the thumb and index finger may start to creep under the weight of a held prop.
