Left Hand Reference Model

The Kotobukiya AT008 is a 1/1 scale left hand model finished in white, created as a reference tool for illustrators and animators. It is based on the hand proportions of animator Takahiro Kagami, known for detailed hand designs in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters TV series. The model measures approximately 8.27 inches and is designed for artists aged 15 and up.

Articulation and Posing Durability

Constructed from ABS, POM, and phthalate-free PVC, the model features highly realistic shape and articulation that holds a wide variety of positions. Joints maintain pose stability for extended reference sessions such as gripping, pointing, or resting without drifting. The materials resist wear from repeated repositioning during long drawing or animation workflows.

Single Hand Workflow Constraint

As a standalone left hand, the model cannot recreate two-handed interactions such as holding an object or clasping without the separate right hand version. Artists requiring bilateral poses must acquire the matching right hand model to complete the set. The 1/1 scale fixes the reference size, limiting use for stylised or non-human character work.
