Mason's Line for Layout Work

The KRAFT TOOL BC340 is a braided nylon mason's line supplied on a single 500 ft spool. Its white colour provides high visibility against brick, block and concrete backgrounds. The line is intended for professional masons and builders who need a reliable reference for straight, level courses.

Braided Nylon Construction

The braided structure resists fraying and maintains tension without excessive stretch during layout. A tensile strength of 170 lb allows the line to be pulled tight over long spans without snapping. The nylon material resists moisture absorption and mildew, so the line remains serviceable after exposure to damp site conditions.

Practical Length and Strength Limits

At 500 ft the spool covers large wall runs without needing a join, but very long single spans may sag under the line's own weight. The 170 lb breaking strain is adequate for hand-tensioned layout but not for structural bracing or lifting loads. Users needing higher tension or longer continuous pulls should evaluate heavier-rated alternatives.
