Concrete Finishing Broom

The Kraft Tool CC172 is a 36 in concrete finishing broom designed for masonry professionals who need consistent surface texturing on large flatwork. Its synthetic plastic bristles and included clevis handle bracket support efficient finishing work on fresh concrete slabs.

Sustained Load Behavior

The 3 1/4 in bristle length maintains contact across wide pours without excessive pressure, allowing operators to texture broad areas in a single pass. Wood body construction resists flex during extended use, keeping the broom head stable across repeated strokes.

Practical Interface Limits

The fixed 36 in bristle width suits expansive slabs but cannot reach tight corners or narrow pathways without a smaller tool. Absence of a handle means users must supply a compatible pole, and the clevis bracket fits only standard threaded or tapered connections.

Questions about this item

Does the 36 in synthetic bristle head generate noticeable dust or vibration during extended concrete finishing?

The 3 1/4 in synthetic plastic bristles on the 36 in wide head are designed for smooth concrete texturing with minimal dust kick-up during all-day use.

What separate handle or bracket must I already own to mount the CC172 broom head?

The broom head includes a clevis handle bracket, so you only need a standard compatible handle that fits the bracket for immediate use.

Will the wood body and clevis bracket of the CC172 fit older Kraft Tool handles I already have?

The included clevis handle bracket on the wood body accepts standard handles, allowing it to work with most existing Kraft Tool handles you may keep.
