Concrete finishing broom head 48 in

The KRAFT TOOL CC178 is a concrete finishing broom head designed to texture freshly placed surfaces. Its 48 in synthetic plastic bristles create a uniform non-slip finish across wide slabs. The aluminium body resists corrosion during repeated exposure to wet mix. A clevis handle bracket is included for attachment to a compatible pole.

Suited for flatwork crews needing wide coverage

Teams finishing driveways, pavements or warehouse floors benefit from the 48 in sweep that reduces passes. The fixed bristle length and synthetic material limit adaptability for specialised textures or curved profiles. Workers requiring a handled tool or a different bristle stiffness should look at other options.

48 in bristle width sets the finishing swath

This single dimension determines how much surface is textured in each stroke and whether the head matches the project scale. The aluminium frame and included clevis bracket support the bristles but do not change the working width. Confirm the 48 in span fits the forms and spacing before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the clevis handle bracket to a handle, and what is the common mistake?

Slide the bracket onto a compatible handle and tighten the set screw; the step often missed is fully seating the bracket before locking it.

Which part will need replacement first with regular concrete work?

The synthetic plastic bristles wear down before the aluminum body or clevis bracket.

What limits continuous use on large pours?

The 48-inch bristle width covers a wide path, but fatigue from pushing the broom across wet concrete becomes the practical limit.
