KRAFT TOOL Fresno Trowel 36 in

The KRAFT TOOL CC851 Fresno Trowel is a concrete finishing tool built for professional masons and contractors. Its carbon steel blade measures 36 inches in length and 5 inches in width with a round profile. The unit ships without a handle, allowing crews to fit their preferred pole.

Round carbon steel blade limits

The round blade shape excels at smoothing large, open concrete slabs but cannot reach tight corners or formed edges. Carbon steel requires cleaning and light oiling after each use to prevent surface rust. The 36-inch span covers ground quickly yet becomes unwieldy on narrow walkways or stair treads.

36-inch blade length decides fit

A 36-inch blade suits high-production flatwork where long, straight passes reduce labour time. Smaller pours, patch jobs or decorative stamping demand a shorter blade for control. Match the blade length to the typical slab width on your projects before buying.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 36 inch blade or a shorter Fresno trowel for large concrete slabs?

The 36 inch blade covers more surface per pass, making it efficient for large pours, while shorter blades offer more control on smaller jobs.

How does the 5 inch blade width affect concrete finishing results?

A 5 inch width balances maneuverability and smoothing pressure, helping level and close the surface without digging into fresh concrete.

Does the round blade shape limit the trowel to specific edging tasks?

The round shape prevents sharp corners from marking the slab, allowing smooth circular passes for final finishing across the entire surface.
