What the FC520 scraper does

The KRAFT TOOL FC520 is a stiff, five‑inch carbon‑steel hand scraper built for drywall and plastering work. It serves professionals and DIY users who need a rigid blade to remove hardened compound, old texture or adhesive residue without flexing.

Behaviour under sustained pressure

The carbon‑steel blade keeps its edge through long stripping sessions on walls or ceilings, resisting the bending that thinner scrapers develop when leaned on heavily. Its stiff profile transfers force directly to the surface, so the user spends less effort re‑scoring the same spot.

Installation and common issues

The tool arrives ready to use; no assembly or adjustment is required beyond checking that the handle is tight. The main drawback is that carbon steel will rust if left wet, so the blade must be dried and lightly oiled after each job to prevent corrosion.
