It connects source devices such as media players or set-top boxes directly to displays including LCD and OLED screens. The cable is supplied new and carries Premium certification for lengths up to 15ft.

4K@60Hz 4:4:4 capacity and headroom

This cable supports signals up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) along with Deep Color, x.v.Color™, Lip Sync, 7.1 PCM, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD and CEC. It provides an uncompressed digital link for high-definition TV applications. The Premium certification covers runs up to 15ft; longer lengths beyond the certified range may not maintain the same guaranteed performance.
