15.6 inch portable dual-screen monitor

The KurieTim B156J-S-Portable adds a second 15.6 inch Full HD display to laptops, phones or consoles through standard HDMI and full-featured USB-C connections. No drivers are required so the screen is recognised instantly. The IPS panel delivers 178 degree viewing angles and a 16 by 9 aspect ratio at 1920 by 1080 resolution.

Included 30W PD adapter

The box supplies a 30W Power Delivery adapter, two USB-C to USB-C cables and one HDMI to HDMI cable. This bundle powers the monitor and carries video over a single USB-C link on compatible hosts, while the HDMI cable covers devices without USB-C video output. Dual built-in speakers provide sound without separate audio gear.

60 Hz refresh and 250 nits suit office work

The 60 Hz panel with 3 ms response handles documents, web browsing and video playback smoothly. HDR support extends contrast to 1000 to 1 on HDR content. Brightness of 250 nits and 45 percent NTSC colour coverage are adequate for indoor use but limit outdoor visibility and colour-critical tasks. The 315 degree rotating kickstand folds flat for transport or vertical orientation.

Questions about this item

Will the kickstand or hinge mechanism on this B156J-S-Portable need tightening or replacement after repeated 315° rotations?

The built-in kickstand is designed for 0-315° rotation and folds flat for travel; no maintenance schedule or user-serviceable hinge parts are specified by the manufacturer.

What limit appears first when the 15.6" IPS panel runs continuously at 60 Hz with HDR enabled?

The 250 cd/m² brightness ceiling and 45% NTSC colour gamut are the fixed panel limits; sustained use does not change these specifications.

How much heat or fan noise does the monitor produce when powered by the 30 W PD adapter all day?

The unit has no fan and relies on passive cooling; the 30 W adapter supplies both display and upstream device charging, so surface warmth is the only thermal output.
