Festive U.S. Navy Jet Ornament

This Kurt Adler ornament depicts a U.S. Navy jet finished in a flag motif with enamel detailing. It is an officially licensed product designed for holiday display on a Christmas tree or as part of a seasonal collection. The metal construction provides a solid feel suitable for annual use. It appeals to military enthusiasts and anyone seeking patriotic décor.

Metal Construction and Dimensions

The ornament is made entirely of metal with an enamel paint finish. It measures approximately five inches wide, offering a noticeable presence on a branch without being overly heavy. As a passive decorative item, it produces no noise, generates no heat and draws no power during normal use.

Ready-to-Hang Display Piece

A hanging loop is integrated into the design so the ornament can be placed directly onto a tree branch or hook. No assembly, tools, batteries or external power source are required. Its self-contained nature means it adds visual interest without occupying shelf space or needing a dedicated display stand.

Questions about this item

How do I hang the 5-inch metal jet on my tree without bending the flag-enamel finish?

Thread a lightweight ornament hook through the built-in hanging loop and let the jet dangle freely; avoid pinching the metal wings or forcing the hook against the enamel surface.

Will the enamel flag motif chip or fade after a few holiday seasons?

The enamel coating is baked onto the metal body, so normal seasonal handling and storage in a padded box keep the colours intact for many years.

At what point does the ornament become too heavy for standard tree branches?

At roughly 5 inches wide the all-metal construction stays light enough for typical fir or artificial branches; only very thin, dry twigs might sag under the weight.
