Kwikset Tylo Entry Combo

The Kwikset Tylo set pairs a keyed entry knob with a SmartKey deadbolt in a single pack, giving homeowners and light-commercial installers a Grade 3 BHMA certified lockset for exterior doors. SmartKey technology allows on-site re-keying without a locksmith, while the included hardware supports standard door thicknesses from 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches. The satin chrome finish carries a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty.

Verify Door Prep Before Buying

Confirm the door thickness falls within the 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inch range and that the existing bore holes match the adjustable 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 inch backset options. The lock is designed for out-opening, narrow-stile storefront doors, so inward-swinging residential frames may need different hardware. No electrical wiring or batteries are required for operation.

Sustained Daily Operation

Grade 3 BHMA certification indicates the lockset meets baseline residential security, durability and finish standards for repeated mechanical cycling. The all-metal construction resists wear on high-traffic entrances, while the SmartKey cylinder maintains pick resistance over extended use. Lifetime mechanical coverage backs the moving parts against failure under normal service conditions.
