USB-powered COB LED strip
The KXZM COB-320-USB-WW is a 6.6 ft warm white LED strip that runs from any 5 V USB port. It suits renters, campers and DIY builders who need flexible accent lighting without wiring a mains supply. The cuttable design and self-adhesive back allow quick fitting under cabinets, behind TVs or along bike frames.
Thermals noise and power draw
Operating at 5 V and 8 W per metre, the strip stays cool to the touch during normal use. The silicone coating protects the 320 LEDs per metre from moisture while allowing heat to dissipate silently. No fan or active cooling is required, so the installation remains completely noiseless.
What this replaces and when to upgrade
It replaces plug-in under-cabinet bars or battery puck lights that need frequent recharging. The jump is worth it when you want continuous, dimmable 3000 K light with 93+ CRI and IP65 protection for damp or outdoor spots. Buyers who need longer runs beyond 6.6 ft or integrated motion sensing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
How do I install the COB-320-USB-WW strip and what step do people often miss?
Clean the mounting surface thoroughly, peel the self-adhesive backing, press the 8 mm wide strip firmly along its full 6.6 ft length, then plug the USB connector into a 5 V power source; the step most people skip is the initial surface cleaning, which causes the adhesive to fail later.
What maintenance or replacement will the COB-320-USB-WW need over time?
The IP65 silicone coating and 640 COB LEDs are sealed for life; no bulb changes are required — only occasional gentle wiping of the silicone surface to maintain the 1200 lumen output and 93+ CRI.
What is the first limit I will hit when running the COB-320-USB-WW continuously?
The strip is rated for ambient temperatures up to 50 °C; sustained operation above that threshold will trigger thermal protection or degrade the LEDs before any other limit is reached.
