Professional 5.1 Audio Decoder

The KY RH-699X Pro Sound decoder accepts USB storage, Bluetooth 5.0, optical, coaxial, HDMI and AUX sources, then converts them to six-channel analogue output. It is built for installers and enthusiasts who need a central pre-amplifier for multi-room or home-theatre systems. The unit requires an external power amplifier or active speakers and cannot drive passive cabinets directly.

Three-second start and flexible channel maps

From cold power-on the decoder begins playing and decoding in roughly three seconds. Six output modes are selectable — 5.1, 5.0, 4.1, 4.0, 2.1 and 2.0 — so the same box fits stereo, quadraphonic or full surround layouts. A front-panel display with light brown acrylic glass and multiple buttons gives direct control without a remote.

15 dB per-channel trim

Each output channel can be fine-tuned by 15 dB, letting the installer balance levels across a 5.1 array without touching the amplifier gain structure. Buyers who need built-in amplification, wireless rear-channel transmission or automatic room correction will not find those functions here.

Keep the light brown acrylic screen clean and ensure USB and fibre connections stay dust-free for reliable playback.

What limit appears first during extended use of the KY RH-699X?

The 15 dB per-channel trim range sets the maximum fine-tuning headroom before output clipping occurs.
