Ceramic Cleaning Beads Protect Drum

New Cartridge Ready for Compatible Models

The cartridge arrives new and installs directly into the listed Kyocera devices without adapters or firmware workarounds. Using the specified genuine toner maintains the print engine’s reliability and avoids the quality issues associated with non‑matched formulations.

Questions about this item

When will the drum unit need replacing if I print 12,000 pages with this TK-897K cartridge?

The ceramic cleaning beads in this toner help keep the drum particle-free; Kyocera drums are designed to last several hundred thousand copies.

What runs out first during a long print run — the toner or the drum?

This black cartridge yields 12,000 pages; the drum in compatible TASKalfa 205c and 255c models is rated for several hundred thousand copies.

Does the TK-897K generate extra heat or noise when the printer runs all day?

The toner itself has no moving parts; heat and noise come from the printer engine, not from the cartridge.
