Questions about this item

How do I install the TK-1242 cartridge in my MA2000w, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, pull the old unit out, shake the new TK-1242 gently side-to-side five times, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks; the missed step is forgetting to pull the tape out fully.

What part will need replacement after the TK-1242 reaches its 1.5K ISO 19752 yield?

The TK-1242 is an all-in-one toner kit; when the 1.5K page yield is reached you replace the entire cartridge — no separate drum or developer unit is required for these models.

What limit appears first during a long print run with the TK-1242?

The toner supply itself is the first limit; the cartridge is rated for 1.5K pages at ISO 19752 coverage, so sustained high-coverage printing will exhaust the toner before any mechanical wear shows.
