What this lanyard is

The Kyuionty JLBDGS011 is a stretchy nylon lanyard measuring 18.9 inches (48 cm) in a Starlight colour. Made from 100% nylon with a thin braided design, it features an elastic construction that stretches for scanning badges or using keys without removal. A sturdy metal clasp secures items such as ID badges, keys, phones or small accessories. It is designed for adult unisex use.

Who it suits and who it does not

This lanyard suits professionals, teachers, nurses, students and travellers who want a lightweight, hands-free way to carry everyday essentials. The elastic stretch adds convenience at scanners and doorways. It is not for buyers who need a rigid, non-stretch strap, a specific breakaway safety release, a longer or shorter fixed length, or a different attachment style such as a swivel hook or badge reel.

Installation and common issues

Attaching items is straightforward: open the metal clasp, thread on your badge, keys or small device, and snap it shut. The clasp holds securely during normal activity. The most common issue is the elastic stretch loosening over extended daily use, which can reduce the snap-back tension. Hand washing with mild soap and air drying helps maintain the nylon’s condition and the clasp’s grip.

Questions about this item

What do I need to attach to the metal clasp before the lanyard can hold anything?

You need your own ID badge, key ring, phone tether, USB drive, whistle or pill case — the 100 % nylon cord and metal clasp are supplied, but the items you carry are not.

Will the 18.9 inch elastic strap still retract cleanly if I keep a heavier, older key bunch on it?

The stretchy braided nylon is designed to snap back after each stretch, and the sturdy metal clasp is rated for daily use with keys, badges or a small phone.

How can I tell the 48 cm lanyard is performing as intended after I start using it?

The cord should stretch smoothly when you reach for a scanner or door handle, return to its original length without sagging, and the metal clasp must stay firmly closed on your items.
