Two-hole strap for 3 in conduit

The DOTTIE HW408 is a two-hole strap designed to secure 3-inch conduit or pipe in electrical installations. It is made from steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance. This hardware suits electricians and contractors fastening straight runs of rigid or intermediate metal conduit.

Check conduit size and mounting surface

Verify that the conduit or pipe outer diameter matches the 3-inch trade size this strap is built for. Confirm the mounting surface can accept two mechanical fasteners and that the zinc-plated steel is compatible with the surrounding environment. Ensure local code allows this strap type for the intended raceway.

Steel construction with zinc plating

The steel body provides mechanical strength for holding heavy conduit in normal service conditions. Zinc plating protects the strap from rust in damp or outdoor locations. No moving parts or active cooling are involved, so the component adds no noise or power draw to the installation.
