Conduit body with cover and gasket

The L.H. DOTTIE LB250CG is a 2-1/2 inch LB threaded conduit body supplied with its cover and gasket. It provides a junction and access point for pulling conductors in rigid or IMC conduit runs. The component is new and carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm.

Suited for large-conduit installations

Electricians running 2-1/2 inch rigid or IMC conduit who need an LB fitting with the cover and gasket included will find this part convenient. It is not intended for smaller trade sizes, for EMT set-screw connections, or for applications that require a different body style such as LL, LR, T or C forms.

2-1/2 inch trade size

The single specification that determines fit is the 2-1/2 inch trade size, which must match the conduit diameter used on the job. The included cover and gasket complete the assembly for a weather-resistant seal.

Questions about this item

What size threaded conduit must I already have for the LB250CG body to connect?

The LB250CG is a 2-1/2'' LB threaded conduit body, so you need 2-1/2'' threaded conduit for a direct fit.

Will the cover and gasket seal properly against my existing metal conduit system?

Yes, the included cover and gasket are designed to seal the LB body when installed on compatible threaded conduit.

How can I confirm the LB250CG is installed correctly after wiring?

Verify the cover sits flush with the gasket compressed, the threads are fully engaged, and the conduit run is continuous through the LB body.
