L.H. DOTTIE NTC300 conduit fitting coupling 3 in threadless steel zinc plated

Three-inch threadless coupling

This three-inch threadless steel coupling joins two lengths of conduit without the need for threaded ends. The zinc-plated finish protects the steel from corrosion in damp or outdoor locations. It is intended for electricians and installers who need a quick, code-compliant connection on rigid or intermediate metal conduit runs.

Replaces threaded couplings

Unlike traditional threaded couplings this fitting slides onto plain conduit ends and secures with set-screws, eliminating time spent cutting and threading pipe. The jump is worth it when a project demands faster rough-in on long straight runs or when conduit is already installed and cannot be rotated to engage threads.

Sustained mechanical load

Under continuous vibration or thermal cycling the set-screw grip maintains alignment without loosening, provided the screws are torqued to the manufacturer's specification during installation. The zinc coating resists surface rust that could otherwise weaken the joint over extended service life.
