Two-Hole Strap for 1 in Conduit

The L.H. DOTTIE TW303 is a steel strap with a zinc-plated finish designed to secure 1 in conduit runs. It mounts with two holes for a firm attachment to structural surfaces in electrical installations.

Suited for EMT fastening on flat surfaces

Electricians running EMT conduit on walls or ceilings will find this strap matches the 1 in trade size. It is not for installations that require a single-hole clamp, a non-metallic support or a different conduit diameter.

Check conduit size and mounting surface

Verify the conduit is 1 in EMT so the strap fits correctly. Confirm the mounting surface accepts two mechanical fasteners and that the zinc-plated steel is compatible with the environment where it will be installed.

Questions about this item

What size EMT conduit does the TW303 two-hole strap secure?

The TW303 two-hole strap is designed for 1 in EMT conduit, holding it flat against the mounting surface with two screw holes.

Can the zinc-plated steel strap be used with older rigid metal conduit of the same trade size?

Yes, the 1 in strap fits any conduit with a 1 in trade size, so existing rigid metal conduit runs can be clamped with the same hardware.

How do I confirm the strap is holding the conduit firmly after installation?

Tighten both mounting screws until the conduit cannot rotate or shift side-to-side, then tug the run to verify there is no movement.
