EMT 1-1/4 in Two-Hole Strap

This steel conduit strap is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and sized for 1-1/4 inch EMT. It secures electrical metallic tubing to structural surfaces in commercial and residential wiring installations. Electricians and maintenance crews use it to meet code-compliant support spacing requirements.

Verify EMT size and mounting surface

Confirm the conduit is 1-1/4 inch EMT before ordering; the strap is not adjustable for other diameters. Ensure the mounting surface accepts two mechanical fasteners and provides adequate pull-out strength for the intended load. Check local code for required support intervals.

Completes a conduit run with two fasteners

The strap clamps the conduit rigidly to walls, ceilings or structural steel using two screws or bolts supplied by the installer. It frees the raceway from movement that could damage wire insulation or loosen fittings. Pair with compatible couplings, connectors and hangers to finish the EMT system.

Questions about this item

What does the TW304 two-hole strap include, and do I need to buy mounting hardware separately?

The strap itself is the only item supplied; screws or bolts for the two mounting holes must be sourced separately.

How do I decide between the TW304 and other DOTTIE strap models?

Choose the TW304 when you need a 1-1/4 in zinc-plated steel strap for EMT conduit; other models fit different conduit sizes or materials.

What does the 1-1/4 in size mean once the strap is installed on a conduit run?

It matches the outside diameter of 1-1/4 in EMT, so the conduit sits securely against the mounting surface without crushing.
