1-3/16 Inch Bi-Metal Hole Saw

The L.H. DOTTIE VP19 is a 1-3/16 inch bi-metal variable pitch hole saw designed for cutting clean holes in metal, wood and plastic. It suits electricians, plumbers and maintenance technicians who need reliable hole-making in conduit boxes, pipework and sheet material.

Variable pitch tooth geometry

The variable pitch pattern reduces vibration and chatter while extending blade life across mixed materials. Cutting depth is limited by the saw cup height, so thick workpieces may require multiple passes or a different tool. The bi-metal construction resists heat buildup but will dull faster in abrasive composites or hardened steel.

Arbor compatibility and pilot drill

The saw accepts a standard arbor with a pilot drill that must be sharp and centred to prevent wandering. A loose arbor or worn pilot bit are the most common causes of off-centre holes and broken teeth. Ensure the workpiece is clamped securely before starting the cut.
