Wall Driller Kit #8 Anchor

This kit provides a complete fastening solution for mounting fixtures into wall materials using number 8 anchors. It contains fifty zinc anchors and fifty matching Phillips sheet metal screws measuring 1-1/4 inches in length. A 1b2p bit is included so the screws can be driven immediately without sourcing a separate driver bit. The set suits electricians, maintenance technicians and DIY users who need a ready-to-use anchor and screw combination.

Installation speed and tool convenience

The included 1b2p bit engages the Phillips recess cleanly, reducing cam-out and the extra force that causes wrist fatigue during repetitive driving. Zinc plating on both anchors and screws resists corrosion, so the fasteners maintain holding power in typical indoor conditions without degrading. With fifty anchor and screw pairs in one package, the kit supports multiple mounting points without interruption for resupply.

Questions about this item

How do I install the #8 anchors and 1-1/4" screws using the included 1b2p bit?

Drill a pilot hole sized for the #8 anchor, tap the zinc anchor flush with the wall, then drive the 1-1/4" Phillips sheet metal screw through the fixture using the 1b2p bit.

When will the zinc anchors or Phillips screws need replacement?

Replace anchors if they spin or pull out under load; replace screws if the Phillips heads strip or the threads no longer grip the anchor.
