4 in Threaded Conduit Hub

The L.H. DOTTIE WTH400 is a 4 in threaded conduit fitting hub made from zinc alloy with a PVC coating. It provides a secure connection point for electrical conduit runs in commercial and industrial installations. The coating adds corrosion resistance for exposed or damp environments.

Suits 4 in rigid conduit systems

This hub fits 4 in threaded conduit and is intended for electricians and maintenance teams joining or terminating runs. It is not for non-threaded pipe, smaller diameters, or installations that require a different material finish such as bare steel or aluminium.

Zinc alloy body with PVC coating

The zinc alloy construction gives mechanical strength while the PVC layer protects against moisture and chemical exposure. It threads directly onto conduit ends and pairs with standard locknuts and bushings to complete a grounded raceway system.

Questions about this item

What size conduit must I already have for this 4 in threaded hub to connect?

This hub fits 4 in threaded conduit, so you need conduit with matching 4 in threads.

Can I thread this PVC coated zinc alloy hub onto my existing galvanised steel conduit?

Yes, the 4 in NPT threads mate with standard galvanised steel conduit of the same size.

How do I confirm the PVC coating is intact after installation?

Inspect the hub visually; the coating should show no cracks, gaps or bare zinc around the threads and body.
