0.2 mL Microcentrifuge Tubes for PCR

These 0.2 mL polypropylene tubes are designed for thermal cyclers and general laboratory use. The natural colour allows easy sample visibility during preparation. Each pack contains 1000 non-sterile tubes with attached flat caps. They withstand up to 15000 x g relative centrifugal force and are fully autoclavable.

Simple press-fit caps reduce contamination risk

The integrated flat caps snap securely onto the 6.9 mm tube body without separate liners. Graduations are not printed, so volume checks require an external reference. Over-tightening can deform the thin walls and compromise the seal during high-speed spins. Autoclaving with caps loosely fastened prevents pressure distortion.

Verify cycler block compatibility before ordering

Confirm that your thermal cycler accepts 0.2 mL tubes with a 22.2 mm overall height and 6.9 mm body diameter. The polypropylene material is compatible with standard PCR reagents and autoclave cycles. These tubes are non-sterile, so downstream applications requiring sterility will need separate treatment. No closures or accessories beyond the attached caps are included.
