Compact hard-shell case for rugged drives

The Lacdo B1D25C1 is a rigid EVA carry case sized at 5.1 x 12.7 x 17.9 cm, designed to house LaCie Rugged Mini and Thunderbolt external hard drives up to 5 TB. A water-repellent PU exterior and shock-absorbing interior lining protect the drive from splashes and drops during daily transport. A wrist strap and metal carabiner provide secure, hands-free carrying for commuters and field workers.

Fits drives up to 14.78 x 9.12 x 3.76 cm internally

The moulded cavity accepts SanDisk Professional G-Drive ArmorATD models from 1 TB through 6 TB, leaving no loose space for the drive to shift. A built-in mesh pocket holds a USB cable and charger, while dedicated plastic slots organise SD and memory cards. The case reaches its limit with drives exceeding the stated internal height of 3.76 cm or width of 9.12 cm.

Replaces generic pouches that lack structure

Buyers moving up from soft sleeves gain a hard shell that resists crushing in packed bags and a fixed interior layout that keeps cables from tangling with the drive. The step up is worthwhile when the drive travels daily in a backpack or luggage where impact protection matters. Users needing space for multiple drives or larger desktop units will find the single-drive capacity restrictive.
