The Landing Zone LZ013 turns the portable 12-inch MacBook into a desktop workstation. It adds USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI and Ethernet ports for connecting peripherals and a display. A Kensington security slot lets you lock the dock and MacBook together. Compatible with Early 2015 and Early 2016 models.

Sustained operation with external power

The dock requires a USB-C power adapter to deliver full functionality and charge the MacBook during long sessions. Without that adapter only limited features work, so the MacBook battery will not charge under load. Connecting the power adapter keeps the ports, video output and network link stable for continuous desktop use.

Simple plug-in setup
