Hardened five-port Gigabit switch delivers up to 90 W PoE++ per port with redundant power for -40 to +75 °C operation
The Lantronix SISTP1040-551-LRT is an unmanaged five-port Gigabit Ethernet switch built for harsh environments. Four ports deliver up to 90 W each under IEEE 802.3bt, with a fifth copper port plus a dual-speed SFP slot for fibre uplinks. Redundant power inputs and a -40 °C to +75 °C operating range keep cameras, lighting and signage running in extreme conditions.
This unit suits integrators deploying PoE lighting, high-power IP cameras or digital signage where temperatures swing wide and uptime matters. The DIP-switch PoH mode adds 95 W capability for HDBaseT devices. It is not for offices needing managed features such as VLANs, QoS or remote monitoring, nor for sites that require fanless silence in climate-controlled racks.
Each of the four PoE++ ports can supply 90 W simultaneously, making the per-port power budget the deciding spec. If connected devices draw less, a standard 802.3at switch may suffice; if they need more, this model cannot exceed the 90 W limit.

The unit is a hardened switch designed for industrial environments; it operates from -40°C to +75°C and uses redundant input power connections, so it typically mounts on a DIN rail or panel with standard industrial brackets.
Set the DIP switch to PoH mode; the step often missed is confirming that the redundant power inputs are both live so the switch can deliver 95 W per port without shutting down.
The dual-speed SFP transceiver in the 100/1000Base-X slot is the only field-replaceable optical module; keep a spare 100/1000Base-X SFP on hand for link restoration.
