Laser Tek Services T802XL120 Black Ink Cartridge

This compatible cartridge replaces the Epson T802XL120 (BK) and fits the WorkForce WF-4720 4730 4734 4740 series. It is designed for home or small-office users who print mainly monochrome documents and want a lower-cost alternative to the original brand. The single black unit yields approximately 900 pages at five percent coverage.

Simple drop-in installation

Remove the old cartridge, unwrap the new one and insert it until it clicks. The chip is recognised automatically by the listed WorkForce models so the printer shows accurate ink levels. The most common issue is a protective seal or tape left on the vent or contact area; double-check that everything is cleared before closing the cover.

Confirm your printer model before ordering

This cartridge only works with the WF-4720 4730 4734 4740 printers listed in the specifications. It will not fit other WorkForce or Expression models even if they look similar. Buyers who need colour cartridges or a multi-pack should look for the corresponding cyan magenta and yellow versions.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Laser Tek Services T802XL120 (BK) is working correctly after installing it in my Epson WorkForce WF-4740?

The printer should recognise the cartridge immediately and display accurate ink levels. Print a nozzle-check pattern; solid black lines with no gaps confirm proper ink flow and electrical contact.

What comes in the box with the T802XL120 (BK) and is anything else required to start printing?

The pack contains one new black ink cartridge sealed in its protective wrapper. No additional parts or tools are needed; simply remove the tape, insert it into the WF-4720, WF-4730, WF-4734 or WF-4740 and run the printer’s initialisation routine.

Which capacity should I choose between the standard and the XL version for the 802 series?

This model is the XL high-yield version rated at 900 pages at 5 % coverage. If you print regularly, the XL delivers more pages per cartridge than the standard-capacity 802 cartridge.
