Laser distance meter up to 100 m
The Lasgoo laser measure is a handheld distance meter designed for indoor and outdoor surveying. It replaces a tape measure for professionals and DIYers who need quick single-person readings across rooms, facades or plots. The built-in angle sensor adds inclination data for indirect height or slope work.
Class II laser limits practical range in bright
The device uses a Class II laser below 1 mW, so the beam stays eye-safe but becomes hard to see beyond shaded distances. Continuous measurement mode updates in real time, yet strong ambient light or low-reflectance surfaces will shorten the usable span well short of the rated maximum.
Angle sensor enables Pythagorean height calculations
The integrated inclinometer feeds angle values directly into the Pythagorean mode, letting the meter compute vertical heights or horizontal offsets without a second operator. If your workflow never requires indirect height or slope data, a simpler non-angled meter will cover the same straight-line tasks.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 100 m or 328 ft version for my projects?
Both figures describe the same maximum range; the tool displays either unit so you can switch between metres and feet on the same device.
What does the 1/8 inch accuracy mean when I am measuring on site?
Readings will fall within 1/8 inch of the true distance up to the full 100 m range, giving reliable results for layout, framing and finish work.
How does the Class II laser limit what I can measure in practice?
Class II output stays below 1 mW, so the beam is eye-safe for momentary exposure and suits indoor and outdoor use without special laser-safety controls.
