Designer Series Ceramic Heater

The Lasko 6435 is a new oscillating ceramic tower heater finished with a decorative metal scrollwork base. Electronic touch controls manage an adjustable thermostat, a seven-hour timer and three quiet comfort settings. It delivers 5118 BTU on high and 3070 BTU on low for large-room coverage.

Buyers wanting styled whole-room heat

This heater suits anyone who wants a neutral-coloured tower that blends with decor while distributing warmth across a broad area through oscillation. Overheat protection and ETL listing add safety for unattended use. It is not for spaces that require a higher BTU output than 5118 or a timer longer than seven hours.

1500-watt maximum power draw

On the high setting the unit draws 1500 watts at 12.7 amps, so the circuit must support that load continuously. The low setting runs at 900 watts and 7 amps for quieter operation. Width is 8.800 inches and weight is 7.9 pounds.

Questions about this item

Does the ceramic heating element in the Lasko 6435 require periodic replacement or cleaning?

The ceramic element is a sealed, solid-state component with no user-serviceable parts; only the exterior and air intake grille need occasional dusting to maintain airflow.

What limits continuous operation on the high 1500 W setting before the safety system intervenes?

An automatic overheat protection circuit monitors internal temperature and will cut power if the unit exceeds safe limits, allowing it to reset once cooled.

How much heat and noise should I expect when running the heater all day on the low 900 W setting?

Low heat delivers 3070 BTU at 7 amps; the manufacturer rates both settings as quiet, so sound stays at a low background level during extended use.
