Pack contents and ideal users

The pack contains ten transparent PVC hooks, each rated for up to 33 pounds on smooth surfaces. They suit renters, homeowners and office workers who need removable hanging points without drilling holes. Buyers who need to mount items on painted walls, rough plaster or textured wallpaper cannot use these hooks.

Sustained load behaviour

Actual holding power ranges from 22 to 33 pounds depending on how smooth the mounting surface is. The adhesive bond remains waterproof and stable in humid rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens. When removal is required, heating the PVC chip with a hairdryer releases the hook without leaving residue or surface damage.

Deciding specification

The critical figure is the 33-pound maximum capacity per hook on a smooth, non-painted surface. If the intended load exceeds that limit or the wall is painted, the hooks will not perform as specified.

Questions about this item

Do these hooks stay secure when the bathroom gets steamy all day?

Yes, the PVC material is waterproof and the adhesive bond holds on smooth tile or ceramic even with daily steam exposure.

What wall surfaces do I need to have for the adhesive to work?

The hooks require smooth, clean, dry surfaces such as wood, tile, ceramic, metal or plastic; they will not stick to painted walls.

Will the transparent hooks show up against dark kitchen tiles I already have?

The clear PVC design blends with any colour tile, so they remain nearly invisible on dark surfaces.
