Two-pack bamboo salt boxes

This set includes two round bamboo containers for keeping salt, pepper, herbs or other seasonings within easy reach on a countertop. Each box is made from 100% natural bamboo with a classic wood finish. The sturdy construction is designed for long-term daily use in a kitchen environment. Hand washing is required as the pieces are not dishwasher safe.

Magnetic swivel lids with stored spoons

A magnetic swivel lid on each box opens with one hand and stays attached so there is no separate lid to set down while cooking. The lid holds a matching bamboo spoon that tucks away when not needed, freeing up worktop space and keeping the utensil clean. The secure magnetic closure helps protect contents from moisture and spills. No microwave or freezer use is supported.

8.9 cm diameter capacity for pinch portions

Each container measures 8.9 cm across and 7.1 cm tall, holding a practical amount of salt or spice for everyday seasoning. The compact footprint suits small kitchens or crowded counters while still fitting a standard pinch or spoonful. Larger bulk refills will not fit, so frequent top-ups are necessary for high-volume cooking. The boxes also organise small non-food items such as paper clips or jewellery.

Questions about this item

How long does the bamboo resist moisture before it warps under daily kitchen use?

The 100% natural bamboo construction is described as durable and renewable, with a magnetic swivel lid that closes firmly to keep spices dryer during extended countertop storage.

Does the magnetic swivel lid or the bamboo body generate noticeable heat or odour when left on a warm countertop all day?

The bamboo material and magnetic lid remain passive at room temperature; no heating element or electronic component is present, so no heat or odour is produced during continuous use.

Are the matching bamboo spoons included, or must I supply my own measuring spoon for each bowl?

Each of the two bowls comes with its own bamboo seasoning spoon stored inside the magnetic swivel lid, so no separate utensil is required.
