Replacement Screen for Acer ASPIRE 5742-6811

This LCDBros replacement screen is built specifically for the Acer ASPIRE 5742-6811 laptop. It delivers a 1366x768 resolution on a glossy LED panel with a 40-pin connector. The package includes tools to help you complete the repair at home. It is intended for owners of this exact model who need to replace a cracked or failing display.

Upgrading from a damaged original panel

This part replaces the factory-fitted screen in the Acer ASPIRE 5742-6811 when the original is broken, shows dead pixels, or suffers backlight failure. The jump is worth it when the laptop chassis is otherwise sound and a new panel restores full usability. It is not for buyers who want a higher resolution, a different screen size, a matte finish, or a touchscreen upgrade. Compatibility depends on matching the original specifications exactly.

Straightforward installation with included tools

The supplied tools let you remove the bezel, disconnect the 40-pin cable, and fit the new panel without sourcing extra equipment. What usually goes wrong is ordering a panel that differs in resolution, backlight type, or pin count, which will not work in this model. The exact brand and part number shipped may vary with market availability, but the screen supplied is guaranteed 100% compatible when matched to the Acer ASPIRE 5742-6811.
