Direct replacement for Acer Chromebook C720-2844

This LCDBros panel is a new replacement screen built for the Acer Chromebook C720-2844. It targets owners who need to restore a damaged display without changing the laptop's original specifications. Buyers who want a different resolution, a touchscreen layer, or a larger diagonal will not be served by this part.

Resolution locked to 1366 x 768 HD with matte finish

The single specification that decides fit is the native 1366 x 768 resolution paired with a matte surface. The supplier stresses that you must match resolution, backlight type, and physical size exactly; any deviation will prevent the screen from working with your system. The part you receive is guaranteed 100 percent compatible, though the exact panel brand and part number depend on market availability.

Stable image quality during extended use

Under sustained load the matte coating continues to suppress glare, keeping text and colours readable during long work sessions. The fixed 1366 x 768 pixel grid delivers consistent sharpness without the flicker or scaling artefacts that can appear when driving a non-native resolution over time.

Questions about this item

Will the 1366 x 768 resolution display correctly once installed in my C720-2844?

Yes, the panel is built to the native 1366 x 768 resolution your Chromebook expects, so text and images appear at the correct scale without stretching.

What video interface does the screen use and does it limit the resolution?

The screen uses the laptop's standard embedded DisplayPort connection, which supports the full 1366 x 768 resolution without bandwidth restriction.

What physical mounting points does the panel need to fit the C720-2844 chassis?

The panel matches the original 1366 x 768 form factor and mounting-hole pattern for the C720-2844, so it aligns with the existing brackets and bezel clips.
