Direct Replacement for Acer Chromebook 715

This LCDBros screen is built to replace the original panel in the Acer Chromebook 715 CB715-1W-35ZK. It delivers a 1920 x 1080 IPS image so the display returns to factory clarity. The kit includes tools to help you complete the swap without sourcing extra equipment.

Passive Panel With No Added Heat Or Noise

The replacement is a bare LCD LED module that draws power only from the laptop’s existing connector. It adds no fan, no coil whine and no measurable thermal load beyond the stock display. Normal use stays silent and the system’s battery life is unaffected by the part itself.

Fits Only When Specifications Match Exactly

Installation requires the chassis to accept the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, backlight type and physical dimensions as the original panel. A mismatch in any of those details will prevent the screen from working. Builders who need a different resolution or a touch-enabled layer cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the replacement screen in my Acer Chromebook 715 CB715-1W-35ZK, and which step do people most often get wrong?

The kit includes tools for the job. The step most people miss is verifying that the replacement panel matches the original 1920 x 1080 resolution and backlight type before fitting it.

What maintenance or replacement will this LCD panel need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required. If the panel develops dead pixels, backlight bleed or physical damage, the entire screen assembly would need replacing again.

What limit appears first when the screen runs at full brightness for long periods?

Sustained maximum brightness can accelerate LED backlight ageing, leading to gradual dimming or uneven illumination over time.
