Replacement Screen for Asus Chromebook C425TA-AJ

This 14.0-inch replacement screen is built specifically for the Asus Chromebook C425TA-AJ model. It restores the original 1920x1080 resolution and IPS matte finish. The part is supplied new and intended for users repairing a damaged or faulty display panel. Professional installation is recommended for best results.

Included Tools Simplify Installation

The package ships with the tools required to remove the old panel and fit the new one. Having the correct screwdrivers and pry tools on hand reduces the risk of damaging the bezel or cable connectors during the swap. No separate tool purchase is necessary to complete the repair.

Exact Specification Match Required

The screen will only function if the original panel uses a 1920x1080 resolution, IPS technology and a matte surface. Any deviation in resolution, backlight type or finish will cause compatibility failure. Buyers who cannot confirm these exact specifications on their existing screen should verify before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.0 inch IPS panel need any periodic replacement parts such as a backlight module?

The screen is a complete FHD 1920x1080 assembly; no separate backlight or inverter components are designed for user replacement.

What is the first limitation that appears when the display runs continuously at full brightness?

Sustained maximum brightness on the 14.0 inch IPS panel will reach its thermal and power envelope before any image retention becomes noticeable.

How much heat and fan noise does the replacement LCD add to the Chromebook C425TA-AJ during all day use?

The panel itself is passive and silent; any extra warmth or fan activity comes from the laptop's own graphics driving the 1920x1080 resolution.
