Exact Model Match

This replacement screen is built for the MSI Katana 17 B13VGK-845US laptop. It targets owners who need a direct panel swap without adapter cables or firmware changes. Buyers with a different Katana sub-model or another 17-inch chassis cannot use this part.

40-Pin FHD Connector

The single specification that decides fit is the 40-pin connector paired with 1920x1080 resolution. Your existing panel must match that pin count and pixel grid exactly; a 30-pin or higher-resolution screen will not connect or display correctly.

Matte Finish Under Load

The matte surface keeps glare stable during long sessions, so colour consistency does not shift when the panel warms. Sustained brightness remains even across the 17-inch area without the hotspots that appear on glossy coatings after extended use.

Questions about this item

What does the 1920x1080 resolution mean for daily use on this Katana 17 screen?

The 1920x1080 panel delivers standard Full HD clarity on the 17-inch display, so text stays readable and video plays at native resolution without scaling.

How does the 40-pin connector limit what this replacement can do?

The 40-pin eDP interface carries the FHD signal and power; it caps the panel at 1920x1080 and prevents use of higher-resolution or touch-enabled screens.

Will this screen fit the MSI Katana 17 B13VGK-845US chassis without modification?

Yes, it is built to the exact dimensions and mounting points of the B13VGK-845US lid, so the 40-pin cable routes and brackets align directly.
